Dolce Mangia was created in 2009 in order to share my love of food with others. Over the years family and friends have requested many recipes. All of the recipes on this site have been tried by my family. If a recipe didn't meet family approval, it is not posted. If I know the origination of a recipe, I cite the origin. Many of the recipes on this site have been adapted to suit my family's tastes.
In 2011, my family decided to go gluten-free. I have added GF to the recipe title of the recipes that are gluten-free. Several other recipes can be adapted to GF by substituting GF pasta or corn instead of flour tortillas.
While this site is mainly a recipe repository, I have other topics under the About Dolce Mangia page. Finally, I consider this site a work in progress. I add new content regularly. Check back often and happy eating!
