2/3 c heavy cream
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 T light corn syrup
Heat cream and corn syrup to a simmer. Pour cream mixture over the chocolate and wait fo the chocolate to melt. Stir thoroughly.
Time: 15 minutes Makes: 1 1/4 c
This glaze is an excellent choice for cupcakes. Put the glaze in a small bowl and the cupcakes. Refrigerate leftover glaze for other uses such as ice cream, macaroons or even pancakes. The cupcakes with the sprinkled gummy and chocolate hearts(below) are glazed with this frosting.
