2-3 oz serrano ham
2 oz manchego cheese, shredded
2 cloves garlic
4 slices of crusty bread (ciabatta)
Preheat over to 350. Brush olive oil on the top of the bread pieces. Toast in oven till browned on edges but still soft in the center. Rub the garlic cloves on top of the toasts. Add ham and cheese. Return to oven for 1 minute to warm the ham.

I love this combination. Something magical happen when you combine serrano and manchego. Serrano ham and manchego cheese are from Spain. If you can't find them, you can substitute prosciutto and parmesan. This is an adapted Junior League of Seattle recipe.
