Sausage Stuffing
12 oz Italian sausage (sweet, mild or hot)
1/4 c vegetable oil
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 c fresh mushrooms
1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
1/4 t dried rosemary
1/8 t pepper
2 c herb-seasoned stuffing mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c hot water
1 1/2 t instant chicken bouillon granules
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place sausage in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat till no longer pink. Drain and transfer to a medium mixing bowl.
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion, celery and garlic. Saute over moderate heat till the celery is tender-crisp. Add mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Add to the sausage and mix well. Stir in the stuffing and egg. Mix the hot water and bouillon granules in a small bowl. Stir into the stuffing mixture. Place in  1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes or till heated through.

Time: 45 minutes   Serves: 6-8
